Established more than 50 years ago, Port Nicholson Fisheries is one of the largest live lobster exporters in New Zealand. Operating from facilities in Auckland and Wellington, lobsters are hand-packed and freighted to customers in Asia, North America and Europe.
To deal with growing demand, Port Nicholson in partnership with Aotearoa Fisheries Ltd is establishing a new 4,500m2 facility in the old Mitsubishi plant in Porirua, constructed by Maycroft Construction.
Urban Outcomes Director Natasha Possenniskie is undertaking the role of Independent Certifier under the new NZS3910:2023 contract for this exciting new development for the region.
